Suzi Prokell is a seasoned public relations practitioner with 16 years of experience. Her first job was handling publicity for health & fitness personality Susan Powter (creator of "Stop the Insanity!") and serving as publicity director for “The Susan Powter Show”, a television talk show that she helped launch in an unprecedented 200+ markets nationwide.
Tired of commuting from Dallas to LA, Suzi resigned from her position and opened Prokell Publicity, Inc. in 1995. Her specialty is positioning clients in the media to result in visibility, name recognition and product sales. She has conducted hundreds of media tours for general business, high technology, food & hospitality, healthcare, retail, self-help, women’s issues, psychology, health & fitness and a variety of other clients.
Suzi has been quoted in numerous media outlets including The Dallas Morning News, Forbes, Income Opportunities, Succeed, USA Today, Working Woman, Kiplinger's Personal Finance, American Way and Physicians Financial News and on FOX Television. Additionally, her expertise can be found in a publicity chapter she contributed to the book, “Promote like a Pro”. Suzi has been recognized by the United States Office of Public Affairs and listed in the International Executive Guild's Who's Who Directory, a directory that merits highly respected public relations professionals who are nominated based on achievements and recognition by their peers.
Suzi holds a B.S. in journalism from Texas A&M University and is a member of the Public Relations Society of America, Tarrant County Medical Society Alliance and the Aledo Children’s AdvoCats. She is married to Joe, a Fort Worth radiologist, with whom she has four children.
