Mary is a dedicated mom to Logan whom she enjoys laughing and exploring new places and adventures with. She was born in Fort Worth, TX and grew up in Springtown, a small town just NW of Fort Worth. Mary grew up on a farm where she rode horses and showed rabbits in 4H. Mary and her family had many different animals on their farm. They also gardened and farmed as her parents owned a local farm and ranch supply store.
Mary attended real estate school right after high school and become a Realtor. She went on in her education to earn an Associate Degree from Tarrant Country College. She worked for various real estate firms, and always kept her real estate interests alive often maintaining corporate employment as well. In 2000 she went to work for Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) as a telecom/network analyst and over the course of 10 years was promoted from analyst to management then to lead Project Manager. Mary returned to school while at CSC to pursue her BS in Human Services Management with the University of Phoenix in 2002, during this time Mary welcomed Logan into the world in June of 2004.
Two weeks after Logan's birth he was diagnosed as having had a Pediatric Stroke which lead to a long road of seizures (infantile spasms) and multiple medications and finally a right anatomical hemispherectomy in 2008 at Detroit Medical Center/Children's Hospital of Michigan. After Logan's hemispherectomy in 2009, Mary left CSC and pursued her Master's Degree in Special Education and during which she become a Texas Highly Qualified/Certified Special Education Teacher for grades K - 12. Mary began teaching in 2009 and truly enjoyed helping exceptional learners meet their potential.
During the course of her Master's program Logan was in and out of the local hospital in Fort Worth, Cook Children's Medical Center being treated for hydrocephalus. At this time Mary was offered a position as Comptroller with a family owned company that allowed her to work from home and be by Logan's side during that difficult time with many months spent in the hospital. In 2013 Mary graduated with her MEd from Tarelton State University and still uses that knowledge to assist in teaching efforts and offer private tutoring.
Professionally Mary has a small real estate brokerage company in Fort Worth, Superior Real Estate Group and continues to stay active in real estate while maintaining her position as Comptroller for Air Delivery Express based out of Grapevine, TX.
Logan is 10 years old and is very much a social butterfly and loves to laugh and tell jokes. He and Mary enjoy various activities in and around the Fort Worth area. You can find them both at the Fort Worth Zoo or enjoying a local park when the weather allows. Mary has many interests which include spending time with her family and friends, volunteering, being outside, gardening and learning new things to assist Logan and Mary in their journey.
