Heather McLean currently lives in Owings Mills, MD with her husband, Rob, and their cat, Michi. Heather is a Senior Physical Therapist at the Kennedy Krieger Institute in Baltimore as well as Clinical Faculty at The University of Maryland, Baltimore School of Medicine, Department of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Science. She is also involved in research for adult patients following stroke and pediatric patients following hemispherectomy surgery.
Heather has been a physical therapist for 17 years. She has worked with patients of all ages as well as diagnoses in multiple states, including California, North Carolina and now Maryland. More than half her time practicing has been devoted to pediatrics.
Heather has recently become a Certified Brain Injury Specialist and incorporates her knowledge as one of the Physical Therapists responsible for the Hemispherectomy Clinic through Kennedy Krieger and Johns Hopkins Medical Centers.
