Dear Hemi Foundation Donor:

The future is hard to predict. But one thing we do know is that The Hemi Foundation will need resources
to fuel our mission in years to come. That’s why we’ve established The Hemispherectomy Foundation
Endowment Fund. The fund is conservatively invested for the long-term, so that the Hemi Foundation will be
around to help families for years to come. Until Hemi Brain Surgery is no longer needed, The Hemi Foundation
will be needed. Please help by donating what you can to this year’s campaign.

The word “endowment” means simply that your legacy gift will be invested for the benefit of The Hemi
Foundation. The earnings from these investments will be contributed to The Hemi Foundation every year and
then used by The Hemi Foundation to fulfill its mission.

You can play a part at any level, no matter how small or how large. There are a variety of ways to give
that provide you with maximum tax and financial benefits. They include:
A gift made in your will or trust
A gift that provides funds at regular intervals
A one-time gift made right now

We hope you will play a part in our future. To learn more, please visit www.HemiFoundation.org, or contact
Cris Hall at CrisHall@HemiFoundation.org or 817-307-9880.
Sincerely,
Cris Hall

The Hemispherectomy Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, was founded to provide emotional, financial, and educational
support to individuals and their families who have undergone, or will undergo, a hemispherectomy or similar brain surgery.

We are also dedicated to hemispherectomy education, awareness, and research of the medical conditions causing intractable epilepsy that
lead to surgery and the surgery itself. As the cause of these medical conditions are unknown, much research is needed.ick here to add text.
